Dear Springfield Rotarians:

As we focus on continually strengthening our club by bringing in new members, I invite you to take a few minutes and think of people within your circle of influence and/or leaders in the Springfield business and/or community you feel would be good additions to our club.

As you think of those new members, think of people who have control of their lunch hour and can spend 1.5 to 2 hours away from work nearly every week and who are committed to making Springfield a better place to live.  People who have demonstrated that they live the 4-way test in their daily lives; who are truthful and fair in their business and personal interactions; who build goodwill and better friendships and who are willing to give back to the community in a way that is beneficial to all.

Now that you have a list the length of your arm, I ask you to commit to bringing just two of those names to the Oct. 10th meeting where they will be handed over to our newly formed Membership SWAT Team.  A team put together for the purpose of inviting potential members to breakfast or lunch, outside our meeting, to introduce them to Springfield Rotary.  In this way we hope to grow our club in an organized way on our way to this year’s membership goal of Net 8 in ’08!

If you are interested in joining the Membership SWAT team, please let President Dan, Corkey Gourley or I know and we will make sure you are added to the team.

Most importantly, please bring two names of potential members to the Oct. 10th meeting.
